No Summer Concert

Yeah; Rockfest was cancelled this year for various reasons. All of which are valid. But it meant our top show was set aside.

Gentlemen: we should pray about new places to play. The world needs to hear about God’s grace, mercy and the Good News of the Cross of Jesus Christ.

Philippe mentionned the possibility of some places we could rent for a show. Question is whether we'd be willing to put a bit of money down. Rob’s always got some great ideas on how to recover the money: selling T-Shirts, hats, drinks, some hot food, etc. Something to consider.

Summer's over: no more open air stuff. We need to think in terms of buildings as places to lift up the name of Jesus. Any ideas?

The Koncert!

2nd Legacy

Now guys, I dunno what you think, but I'm glad!!!
The chemistry between John and I was amazing, Manouane's drum solo set the room on fire, and we ALL did GUH-REAT!!!!!!!

Really.

Too bad the audience was this small (then again, Medora was able to raise a good deal of money, right?). So well, if we keep on like that, it will go far.

Latest Practice

Well, we worked on a total of about 2 and half songs. But there was a lot of improvement worked into the songs.

I stood and played the chords to Changes. I listened as the guys worked in some cool ideas. I chuckled as I thought back to sitting on a bed and plunking out the first notes of this song. My goodness: how far it has come.

Thanks guys for all your efforts. It's reassuring to know you've grown to accept the songs as your own. The concert's going to be a blessing. But that's because we've taken these pieces and we've each given them strength.

Onward to towards the concert!

New Logo

Well, Mr. Adams put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into creating a logo for the band. And I must say it's kinda neat lookin'. What do you think, guys? It's at the top of our website.

Rob went over quite a number of ideas. He did what Robert Rodruigez said one should do in the "Spy Kids" film commentaries: try and try again. Don't give up on an idea. Come back to it and try again.

The results are there to see. A mock up was made in MS Paint and sent off to a friend in Calgary: Dan Clark. Dan is mighty with the brush... and CorelDRAW helps him out. The simple bitmap was rendered into a vector graphic through hard work, sweat and more hard work. Dan spent his "Freelance" evening creating this excellent piece of work.

Once returned to Montreal some humble skills were applied to the image to tweak it here and there. What you see now is the result of Rob and Dan's hard work. Hard work pays off, my friends. It pays off!

Not in Concrete
Now's the time to submit ideas, suggestions, criticism, questions about the logo. The logo represents the band and Rob is open to suggestion. Mull over it and submit whatever comes to mind.. Art is a creative process and it's fun when a lot of ideas are submitted.

It's up and running

Wow. Two different blogs. This is fun. Not enough time to fill this up. But I'm looking forward to our upcoming benefit concert. And I'm looking forward to seeing you guys again at the rehersal.

Alright. The blog is started and official. Hope it doesn't die due to neglect.

I'm In!

Hey Guys,

I guess i'm the new kid on the blog (groan). I thinks we can keep this alive , especially if we have something to talk about.
